Located in the geographical centre of Shetland, our spectacular 7-bedroom home is now ready to welcome guests from all over. Ideally suited for groups of up to 15 guests, Voe House is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need. All bedrooms are en-suite, and an exclusive spa area with hot tub and steam room is ready to use.
Voe House is a Victorian house built by a successful merchant family. Located 18 miles north of Lerwick, Voe is a picturesque village nestled in the heart of Shetland. Here you’ll find all the charm and hospitality of a traditional Shetland community.
The living and dining rooms are spacious and on the ground floor. They are comfortably furnished and have west facing views over the sea at Voe. The dining table comfortably sits 12 and has a large sideboard original to the house. There are smart TV’s available for guests to log in with their TV apps. The ground floor communal toilet is fully accessible.
The kitchen and laundry space consists of 3 adjoining areas; the breakfast and main kitchens, and laundry. These areas are fitted with all the necessary appliances, storage and utensils needed for your stay. There are 2 induction hobs, 2 double ovens, 2 warming drawers, 2 dishwashers, 2 fridges, 2 kitchen sinks and a large freezer. There are 2 easy to use commercial standard washing machines and dryers.
Our 7 bedrooms are laid out across 3 floors and all have en-suite toilets and showers. They are all fully furnished with plenty of storage space. The double room on the ground floor has an accessible shower / toilet. On the first floor are the next 4 bedrooms: 2 double beds and 2 king size 4-poster beds. The top floor has a 2 further bedrooms. One has options of either a king or twin beds. The final room has 3 single beds.
Adjoining the house is the private spa area, accessed via its own external door. It is equipped with a 6-person hot tub, 4-person steam room and an accessible toilet. Spa robes and slippers are provided.

Directions from Sumburgh
When you leave Sumburgh airport you are on the A970. Head North towards Lerwick for about 20 miles. Turn off the A970 onto the B9073 towards Scalloway. Continue to the next junction, about 1.5miles. Then turn right back onto the A970 and continue to the next junction, about 2 miles. Turn left, heading North. Voe is approximately 18 miles north of Lerwick on this road. Voe House is in lower Voe. When approaching Voe on the A970 turn left on to the B9071 and drive down the hill into lower Voe. There is a left turn off just before getting to the Voe pier, turn off left here and drive up the small road / track, continue past 2 local residences to the left and up through the gate and trees. You are now in the Voe House grounds, car park area on the right, continue straight ahead to get to the house.
Directions from Northlink
When you leave the Northlink ferry terminal turn right, this is the A970. Voe is approximately 18 miles north of Lerwick on the A970. Voe House is in lower Voe. When approaching Voe on the A970 turn left on to the B9071 and drive down the hill into lower Voe. There is a left turn off just before getting to the Voe pier, turn off left here and drive up the small road / track, continue past 2 local residences to the left and up through the gate and trees. You are now in the Voe House grounds, car park area on the right, continue straight ahead to get to the house.
