There are a number of wonderful coastal walks close by with the white sands of the Meal beach just a short stroll away; and there is every chance you might see seals, otters or orca. Accessibility:
The rooms are designed to be used by anyone with mobility issues. The wetroom has a non-slip floor, ample handholds in the shower, a lowered sink, a raised toilet and toilet assistance rails.
Most of the internal doors have been widened and converted to sliding doors for easier wheelchair access.
There is a wheelchair ramp to the front door.
Outside:
Outside the front of Da Crö there is an accessible patio area with seats and a table. It is a great place to sit and relax at the end of the day and quite often see some stunning sunsets.
There is a free parking space available at the property.
At the south end of the house there is a hosepipe. Feel free to use it to wash your car, hose down muddy wellies etc.
Da Crö is part of a working croft and there are hens, ducks and sheep close by.

From the Northlink ferry: 10 miles – approx. 20 mins driving time.
Turn right when you leave the ferry terminal and follow the A970 towards Scalloway and Burra.
After 0.2 mi At the roundabout take the 2 nd exit onto the A970.
2.8 mi Turn left towards Scalloway and Burra to stay on the A970.
5.3 mi Turn left onto the B9074 towards Burra. Follow the road across two bridges to get to Burra.
9.1 mi At the top of the hill follow the road around to the right towards Hamnavoe.
After approx. 0.5 miles you will be at the top of a road leading down into Hamnavoe with the lighthouse ahead of you. Just 50 metres down the hill take the sharp left turn and follow the road to the top of the hill.
Da Crö is the red wooden house at the top of the hill. Park on the tarmac at the nearest end of the house and we will welcome you in!
From Sumburgh airport: 29 miles – approx. 40 mins driving time.
Leave the airport terminal and drive for 0.7 miles then take the first right to The North / Lerwick onto the A970.
