The property is over 100 years old and has been sympathetically refurbished. Accommodation comprises a large fully-equipped kitchen/dining area, with large dining table, fridge-freezer, oven, hob and microwave, a comfortable sitting room, back porch/utility room with washing machine and WC.

There are 3 x double en-suite bedrooms, all with showers, and a family suite with a double bedroom, adjoining bedroom with single bed and single bed settee, and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The property has wifi and each of the double bedrooms has a smart TV for streaming services via guest accounts.

There is a mature, private garden and outdoor space to sit and relax. There is a private car park adjacent to the property with room for up to 5 vehicles.

Next door is the local village shop – which is also run by the owners of Bixter House – selling groceries, toiletries, medicines, local produce, alcohol, hardware, toys and petrol/diesel. Within walking distance is a small playpark, GP surgery, electric vehicle charging station, garage, bus stop and access track to the seashore. It is a 5 minute drive to the West Mainland Leisure Centre with a swimming pool, sauna, gym, climbing wall and leisure facilities.

There are many beautiful walks and interesting places to visit in the west mainland as well as it being a central location for travelling throughout the isles.
